Happy Holidays everyone...Last week, Dan wrapped up shooting on his third season of Curb Appeal. The 26 shows shot this year will air beginning next spring and continue through 2009. With more time on his hands, Dan plans to fully dive into voice-over projects and – if the schedule permits – some new on-camera work. Currently Dan’s Subway Restaurants and Sharp voice-over campaigns are keeping him busy, check out Dan’s updated Commercial Reel to hear them.

Although Dan is busy shooting his 3rd season of Curb Appeal down in DC, he still has time for new voice and commercial projects back at home. The latest on-camera spot is an American Express commercial with Tina Fey, where he plays her assistant on the set of 30 Rock. You can see the full commercial here:

New voice-over projects include the Subway Scrabble TV ad campaign currently running, promos for the new season of Rachel Ray, and radio spots for Sharp Aquos TV. And Dan's 2nd season of Curb can be seen Friday nights and weekend mornings on HGTV.

"Curb Appeal" Season 2 has begun! Tune in every Friday night at 9:30pm on HGTV to watch Dan host another season of amazing home transformations.
Also premiering this month, you can hear Dan as the narrator on the family weight-loss show "Honey We're Killing the Kids" every Monday night at 9pm on TLC.

Don't miss Dan's latest on-camera venture: Spike TV will telecast its first MLE (Major League Eating) event, the MLE: ST. PATRICK'S DAY CHOWDOWN on St. Patrick's Day, this Saturday at 7pm.

The event will occur in Savannah, Georgia, during one of the country's largest St. Patrick's Day celebrations. The preliminary rounds will involve such delicious gastro-nomical delights as jalapenos and the famed Irish dish of corned beef and cabbage. The final event, a green donut-eating contest, will include the two top eaters from the prelims.

Dan will be the sideline reporter for this event, handling all contestant interviews with the winners and interacting with the crowd. He'll also hit the streets of Savannah to tape some "man on the street" reports.

The MLE: ST. PATRICK'S DAY CHOWDOWN will air on Spike TV this Saturday, March 17th from 7-8pm.

Voice-over news: Dan has voiced several characters for the acclaimed PBS documentary series "Wide Angle." The latest, "Pilgrimage to Karbala," about the perilous journey of Iranian pilgrims to Iraq, will premiere on March 26 on PBS. In other news, Dan recently finished work as the voice of "Alex" in the soon-to-be-released "Hooked on English" and "Hooked on Spanish"
educational DVDs. Dan also continues as the voice of the "Let's Just Play" promos airing on Nickelodeon; and in the commercial world, he's recently recorded new spots for Verizon Wireless and Electrasol Dishwasher Detergent.

Tune in - or set your DVRs - to 15 new episodes of "Moving Up" starting Saturday 1/6/07 at 8 PM E.T. on TLC. See even more of the real-life issues our homeowners deal with as they move out of their old house and renovate their new ones. Hosted by Doug Wilson with Dan as the in-show announcer.

In other TLC-related news, Dan has been hired as the new narrator for the hit TLC show "Honey We're Killing The Kids." Dan will be recording the narration throughout January & February. Look for the episodes to air sometime in the spring.

Listen for Dan this month as the voice of new commercials for Toshiba, McDonald's and the new John Mayer album "Continuum." And Season 2 of "Curb Appeal" (DC) continues shooting down in the nation's capitol. October looks to be the busiest month, with at least 7 episodes scheduled for shooting. We'll keep you posted as we wrap up next month.

New Episodes of the hit TLC series “Moving Up” have begun recording. The show, slated to begin airing its 3rd season this winter, is hosted by Trading Spaces alum Doug Wilson. Dan can be heard as the announcer throughout the show. Look for repeat episodes of “Moving Up” from the first two seasons Saturdays at 4pm on TLC.

SECOND SEASON OF "CURB APPEAL" HAS BEGUN SHOOTING

Last week I went down to DC to shoot the first episode of the year, which featured the transformation of a great old row house in the Howard University section of the city. "Curb Appeal" can be seen every Tuesday night at 9:30pm on HGTV. It repeats at 1:30am that night and usually the following Saturday at noon.

NEW VERIZON AND MCDONALD'S SPOTS
In voice-over news, there are new Verizon and McDonald's spots currently airing. Also completed are a series of promos in Spanish for HBO Latino. As for radio ads, there are spots currently airing for Hummer, McDonald's and the Broadway musical "The Wedding Singer."
